With Thanksgiving coming up, there might be that urge to try something new! Kate Shaffer has put together "Recipes and Tales From an Island Chocolatier", the subtitle for "Desserted", with more than 50 artful color photographs, precise instructions on how to make confections that are as beautiful to look at as they are to eat, and recipes that you will use over and over again. The Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library has invited Kate to speak about her book at the November Literary Luncheon beginning at 11:45 a.m. on Friday, November 9.
